
The teacher of the month of October is Mrs. Karen Eller. I sat down with Mrs. Eller and asked her some questions about herself.
Q: Tell me a little about yourself.
A: I love to watch my daughter play volleyball. I go to the beach as often as I can, and I love to spend time with my children.
Q: Where did you go to school and college?
A: I went to school at MCHS, and went to college at Cumberland University.
Q: How many kids do you have?
A: I have 3 kids.
Q: Do you have any pets at home?
A: Yes, a Blue Heeler named ¨Burley¨
Q: What do you do during your free time?
A: I spend time with my children and watch them participate in sports.
Q: What is one of your life goals or bucket list items?
A: I want to travel to many places I’ve never been to.
Q: Why did you choose to be a teacher?
A: I chose to be a teacher because I enjoy spending time with children and love to to see them learn new things.
Q: How long have you been teaching?
A: I’ve been teaching for 21 years.
Q: What is one rewarding thing about being a teacher?
A: I like to see children excited to learn about something new.
