Veteran’s Day

Veterans Day

Haeley Gibbs

Every year on November 11, we celebrate Veteran’s day. It’s a day to thank the veterans and current soldiers, marines, and many others for their service. They fought and died for our country, and without them, we don’t want to imagine what America would be like today.

Why this date?

World War 1 ended on November 11, and 11:00 after four years. A year later, America made November 11 Armistice Day. We celebrate peace and the veterans who fought for our country. We also celebrate Memorial Day for the ones who have died serving in our military. Make sure you thank your veterans for their service!
