As you all may have heard, a terrible incident occurred minutes before the Macon County High School homecoming parade. A man came flying in a stolen car where hundreds of kids stood. Luckily, officer Aaron Shipley, SRO of Central Elementary School, came to the rescue crashing head on into the stolen car. After the two cars collided, the man got out of the stolen car with a loaded shotgun. A white truck,who had already been chasing the car, ran over him to stop a shooting.The thief got life-lighted, and Officer Shipley went to the hospital. As Officer Shipley makes a recovery to wellness, I would like to thank him for saving as many lives as he did.
