As you may have heard, Queen Elizabeth died on September 8th, 2022. Queen Elizabeth’s reign was the longest reigning British monarch in history, 70 years and 214 days on the throne. Because of her death, money will be changed to have Prince Charles’ face, instead of Queen Elizabeth’s, but this will happen in 2024.

Fun Facts

Queen Elizabeth was in World War ll, but she spent most of her time at the Mechanical Transport Training Section in Camberley, Surrey, England since she was a mechanic. Women were prohibited from actually fighting in the war.

She also donated to more than 600 charities, and she helped raise $166 billion in U.S money.
