Dwayne Haskins, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was born on May 3rd, 1997. He played football through college and eventually made it in to the NFL. He was drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021. He ended up sitting out the whole 2021 season. With current quarterback Ben Roethlisberger retiring, Haskins was going to start as quarterback in the 2022 season.

However, tragedy struck.

He was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 when there was oncoming traffic. Unfortunately, he collided with an oncoming dump truck. Haskins was pronounced dead on scene.” the FHP or Florida Highway Patrol announced the Saturday morning of April 9 ,2022, just weeks from Haskins’s birthday. Dwayne Haskins will be truly missed among the NFL and most of the world. May he Rest In Peace and keep his family in your prayers. Now, we will never get to see him start for the Steelers. May he Rest In Peace.
