Throughout many years, we have had many different types of phones. Two of the most common types of phone brands that we have and use are the iPhone and Samsung phones. These two companies have been rivals for many years. On July 29, 2007, the first-ever iPhone, the iPhone 2G, was released. Later on, on June 29, 2009, the first-ever Samsung phone was released. After just one year of Samsung phones being used, it became one of the biggest rivals of Apple.

When the phones started to look alike between Apple and Samsung, they started having arguments saying that apple needed to pay since they thought apple was copying off their designs. Now, only 14% of the world’s population has an iPhone, whereas Samsung has 20.8% of the world’s population using their phones. Researchers say that Samsung has really come along so far in the past few years.
