Who Is the Strongest Spider-Man According to Movies?

March 8, 2022
Spider-Man has been a big part of movies now, and it is somewhat hard to determine who may be the strongest Web-head or Peter Parker in the movies. In this article, I am going to cover everything unique about each Spidey that has appeared in movies dating from Tobey Maguire in 2002 to Tom Holland in 2021. Just be aware there are spoilers for almost all of these movies.
Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, Spider-Man: No Way Home)
Tobey Maguire is the original live-action Spider-Man for movies, making his debut in 2002’s movie with the same name. Unlike the other Webheads, Tobey’s webs are organic and come out of his wrists. Being Peter Parker, he is one of the smartest people in his classes, and has an amazing girlfriend, M.J. When it comes to villains, Tobey’s Spider-Man has taken down the lunatic Green Goblin, the brilliant Doc Ock, the feared Sandman, the revengeful Venom, and his once best friend Harry Osborn. Tobey’s strength is quite extreme, especially when he was able to stop a train in Spider-Man 2, and he was able to hold off Tom’s Spider-Man attempting to end Goblin in No Way Home. Tobey’s Spidey has really set his mark in superhero strength.
Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: No Way Home)
After Tobey, the webs are passed to Andrew Garfield, who takes a different approach to Spider-Man. Despite the movies not doing as great as others, Andrew’s Spider-Man is a tough force to handle. Unlike Tobey with his organic webbing, Andrew had to make his own webs from Oscorp scraps. Andrew’s array of villains is also interesting, ranging from The Lizard, to revenge-seeking Electro, and Harry Osborn as the Green Goblin. Andrew’s Peter Parker is also a genius skateboarder with a good girlfriend known as Gwen Stacy. To add on emotional weight to the character, he does not lose only Uncle Ben, but he loses Gwen’s father because of The Lizard, and Gwen to the Green Goblin. The strength of Andrew’s Spider-Man is truly incredible, both physically and emotionally.
Tom Holland (Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home)
Making his debut in Captain America: Civil War by taking Cap’s shield, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is a force to be reckoned with. His range of villains is also quite powerful, including The Vulture and his accomplice The Shocker in Homecoming to Mysterio who reveals Peter’s identity in Far From Home. Tom’s Peter Parker lifestyle is balanced, too. At least, until Mysterio reveals his identity. Oh, and he has more villains than this as well, including Doc Ock, Goblin, and Sandman from Tobey’s universe, and The Lizard and Electro from Andrew’s universe. Tom’s Peter has also suffered quite a lot, mainly when he lost Tony Stark and Aunt May. This does not even amount to everyone forgetting who Peter is!
Miles Morales (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse)
Lastly, I would like to talk about the Miles Morales Spider-Man from 2018’s Into the Spider-verse. Miles gets bitten by a spider while creating graffiti, and then tracks down the Peter Parker Spider-Man of his universe, only to see him get ended in the process. After Miles manifests his powers with some multiversal shenanigans, he truly becomes an unstoppable force. Unlike other Webheads, Miles’s powers are different in a couple of ways, such as him being able to turn invisible and shock opponents. His range of villains is quite interesting as well, including Tombstone, Scorpion, Doc Ock, Kingpin, and Prowler, who is actually Miles’s uncle, who Kingpin ends after Prowler hesitates to harm Miles.
In summary, all movie adaptations of Spider-Man are extremely powerful in all sorts of ways. They all have awesome suits, menacing villains, and all sorts of craziness. They are awesome adaptations of the amazing web-slinging hero.
