Millions of Thoughts

A poem about Insomnia

When I try to sleep

There are millions of thoughts

In my head waiting in the deep

To rise and take control

I want to fight

But it goes to the dark

I can only see in the light

So I just go to a sunny place, like a park

When I try to take control

I always lose my grin

I need a mind patrol

So I can finally win

After a long battle

With a million thoughts

They finally get rattled

And I win with my thoughts controlled.
