“Writer’s Block” by Sophia Boxold

Writer’s Block
When I write
Words flow out on the clock
But sometimes I want to smite
A thing called writer’s block
When this happens to me
I can’t think
I can’t write or see
And I am on a brink
It hurts to know
That I can almost grasp
There is a way
That I get past
I can listen to music all-day
Or I can think of cats
It clears it up
And I can write again
