Summer is on its way, and it’s coming fast. It gets really hot so you may want to go outside and run around. Well, instead of lemonade or ice cream, there are way better snacks out there in the world!

Molten Dark Chocolate Cakes

If you have a sweet tooth for chocolate, these would taste like Heaven for you! For this chocolatey cake you will need:

  • 7 ounces bittersweet chocolate(Chopped)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter(little pieces)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

Step 1

First, you need to preheat your oven to 450 Fahrenheit. You also need to butter 6 3/4 cup ramekins. Next, grab your chocolate and butter and pop it in the saucepan over the lowest heat setting. While doing this, stir it with a spatula. It should look melted and soft. Let it cool in a bowl.

Step 2

Get another bowl and mix in some flour, salt, and powder. This time you’re going to stir with a fork. Take a large bowl and beat some eggs, yolks, cream, and vanilla with a wire whisk. Make sure to mix in the sugar, too. Then mix it in with the other bowls.

Step 3

Now take a spoon out of your drawers and mix it in your ramekins. Place the ramekins on a sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.  Once taken out, let sit for 1 minute. Finally, use a knife and cut around the edges so as not to stick to the pan. Enjoy!
