2021 March Madness

It’s about that time of year again, March Madness is here! Due to Covid, last year’s was canceled. I am sure those of you that have been waiting since last year for March Madness are super excited that they have decided to host the event again this year. Here’s a little information for March Madness 2021.
There are 64 teams and 32 games in the tournament. The selection game (Selection Sunday) was scheduled for Sunday, March 14. It was on CBS at 6 p.m. ET. Here is the rest of the schedule:
- First Four — Thursday, March 18 at 4 p.m.
- First round — Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 at 12 p.m.
- Second round — Sunday, March 21 and Monday, March 22 at 12 p.m.
- Sweet 16 — Saturday, March 27 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, March 21 at 1 p.m.
The Sweet 16 round is the regional semifinal round. Whichever teams win will go on to play in the Elite Eight.
- Elite Eight — Monday, March 29 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, March 30 at 6 p.m.
There are 8 teams in the Elite Eight round. The Elite Eight is the regional final round of the tournament. Whichever teams win the Elite Eight will go on to play in the Final Four.
- Final Four — Saturday, April at 5 p.m.
The Final Four is the last four teams in the tournament. There are two games in the round. All four teams will compete whichever 2 teams win the games will compete with one another in the NCAA championship game.
- NCAA championship game — Monday, April 5 at 9 p.m.
