Pizza has been a favorite for many people over the years. People often think as pizza being a comfort food because it is bad for you and most comfort foods usually are really bad for you.

- The first documentation of the word “pizza” is from 997 C.E.
- The world record for the world’s largest pizza is 122 feet, 8 inches in diameter
- In 2013, Domino’s made DVDs that smelled like pizza
- NASA funded and tested a 3D printer that can make pizza for astronauts
- 215.7 million pounds of pepperoni are consumed every year in the U.S. just from pizza
