How To Relieve Stress
January 27, 2021
School is not completely over yet, and it is getting pretty exhausting. Most people have a daily routine, but that is pretty hard to do at school. This article will tell you how to release stress from homework, drama, and classes.
1. Exercise
This may sound crazy, but exercising puts pressure on your body, making you release the stress inside you. Exercising can also help you sleep better, for the pain is also exhausting. Some exercises you can do are walking, dancing, rock climbing, and yoga.
2. Light A Candle
Lighting a candle and smelling wondrous smells can be soothing. There is several smells that will help your stress decrease including: lavender, rose, orange, orange blossom, bergamot, etc. These smells are very relaxing, sometimes making you take a nice nap. Naps are also stress-taking.
3. Drink Less Caffeine
Caffeine makes anxiety increase. To stop this, you might want to stop drinking coffee, soda, tea, energy drinks( such as the Switch), and chocolate milk. If you can hold back your hyperness, it is OK to take a small drink. A couple of drinks that don’t have caffeine are Sprite, Root Beer, diet drinks, Minute Maid, Fanta, etc.
4. Chew Gum
Not only does gum shake your brain, it takes away all stress and anxiety. A study once said that chewing gum gave you a greater sense of well-being and less stress. Most teachers don’t allow gum, but it is OK to chew it after school whether it is in a car or on a bus.
5. Breathe Deep
First you must breathe through your mouth, then out with your nose. Breathing can sometimes make you forget what you were mad about. It releases the stress in you as if it was just air. This is the most popular thing people do, for they can do it whenever. No matter if you are in class or in the courtyard, breathing is something teachers won’t get mad at.
I hope all the stress has been released from your body making you happier than you were before. Stress is something that nobody likes, even for teachers. Younger kids, such as siblings or students, make people angry. They are always asking to play on your phone. For teachers, though, they have to deal with grading papers. As said, I hope you are gone of stress and back to normal.
