New Year’s Resolutions
January 4, 2021
So, Christmas time is over, it’s the beginning of the year, and you’re thinking, “Hey, new year new me!” You then come up with various ways on how you could change for the better, whether it being cleaning your room often or losing excess weight for health, you plan to keep it going for the rest of the year. Not even a week later, you’ve totally forgot your newly set goals. Don’t worry, we all can admit to doing this. But this year, we need to take sometime to enjoy and love ourselves.
As we’re trying to get through the pandemic, we tend to lose focus on what really matters to us. Some of us are still having a hard time adjusting to this way of life. I’m sure you’re tired of hearing “We’re all in this together,” because you truly feel that during these times you’re alone. That’s why this year, taking time to appreciate life and focus on you, should be your number one priority. Another thing is, don’t stress your resolutions. Wanting to lose weight or clean your room often doesn’t have start right off the bat. Resolutions last all year. If you pressure yourself so much, you’ll give up on that resolution before the end of January. Take your time, and try to get your family involved in what you want to do. The more support you have, the easier your goals feel. Then by next December, You’ll get to look back at all the progress you made and say, “I actually did it! I became a new me this year!”
So what are your resolutions for this year? 🙂
