U.K. is the First Western Nation to Approve a Covid-19 Vaccine
December 15, 2020
As you all know, Covid-19 has been going around for a year and has taken the lives of over a million people this year. But on December 3, 2020, the U.K. (London) approved of a vaccine that was found to be (according to the Covid-19 candidates) more than 90% effective for Covid-19 from the company Pfizer/BioNTech. After a few days after they had approved it, they began ordering 40 million doses of this vaccine. While in the process of getting the vaccine ready to ship to other countries, the U.K. decided to began injecting people with the new vaccine. Margaret Keenan, a 90-year-old grandmother from Britain, was the first to be injected with the new vaccine. The U.K. has also launches a Covid drive according to some news articles.
Now that we´re on the road of recovery, companys are beginning to produce more and more vaccines to give around the world. The only problem that we have now is giving to countries around the world ,but hopefully that they can keep the virus under control.
