We all know Christmas is coming up.  Some of us are already in the Christmas spirit! In some Christmas movies there are some bad guys, and they really don’get noticed. Other people may have some favorites bad guys in Christmas movies. Therefore, I am going to give you the top five favorite Christmas bad guys.

1. The Grinch   

This fuzzy, green grouch who scowls down on the town of Whoville has joined the ranks among the greatest Christmas-hating cranks. In “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” the Grinch suffers from a chronic case of small heart and creates a plan to steal all the presents from the people of Whoville.

2. Scut Farkus   

Along with his bratty friend Grover Dill, Scut Farkus terrorizes young Ralphie and his group of friends in A Christmas Story. With his signature coonskin hat, evil laugh, and yellow eyes, Farkus played the perfect childhood villain.

3. Mr. Potter       

Mr. Potter is the rich, cranky old man of Bedford Falls who is doing everything he can to make George Bailey’s (and everyone else’s) Christmas horrible. Potter goes down as a great Christmas movie villain for many reasons, but the biggest is that there is never any redemption for his character.

4. Harry and Marv     

Though some people will say that the real villains are the parents of Kevin who accidentally forgot their youngest child at home before leaving the country. These two criminals, who are repeatedly outsmarted by an 8 year old, are burned, shot, tarred and feathered, and all but killed by this clever boy as they try (and fail) to rob his parent’s house.

5. Oogie Boogie    

With the help of his (also horrifying) sidekicks, Oogie kidnaps Santa Claus, (a.k.a. Sandy Claws) and keeps him in his underground layer while Jack Skellington brings insanity to Christmas. Jack eventually saves Santa and defeats Oogie by unraveling his cloth, revealing nothing but a nasty pile of worms.
