We all easily get the chill in our spines one special night of the year – Halloween! There are many things to do on this special night, and I thought that I would come up with a list over some awesome things you can do on this haunted night!

5. Trick-or-Treating

Most of you by now think you may be to old for this, but trick-or-treating is one of the most beloved parts of this holiday. You may even have younger siblings that still go trick-or-treating, and may even want you to tag along. Besides, even if you do not want to go trick-or-treating, you can still hand out candy if you live in that kind of neighborhood.  The reason I put this up there is because trick-or-treating has been a major part of Halloween since forever!

4. Throwing or Going to a Halloween Party

Even featured in movies, Halloween parties are major parts of this holiday. Most people enjoy going to a friend’s Halloween party to show off their costume, hang out, and tell some spooky stories with friends. For smaller kids, it is also fun to go and get candy, participate in costume contests, and just chill. Halloween parties are one of the most fun parts about Halloween, don’t you think?

3. Going to a Haunted House

Going to haunted houses can actually be very frightening. You might run into who-knows-what! If you are planning to do this on your Halloween like me, I recommend bringing an extra pair of underwear because unless you want to soil yourself after seeing huge chainsaw murderers, killer clowns, psychos, or much more, maybe carry an extra pair of undies – just in case.

2. Watching Horror Movies or Playing Horror Video Games

Watching horror movies on Halloween night can actually be a little bone chilling. Part of it also depends on the movie you watch. Maybe you are watching something like It or something like Alien or Predator. The possibility of watching those on Halloween night could be scary to the point where it will give you enough nightmare fuel until Thanksgiving! On the other hand, if you turn your lights off, and your Xbox or Playstation on, and play FNaF (Five Nights at Freddy’s) or Resident Evil games, that will definitely fuel your nightmares for another year. It all depends on what you are more into.

1. Tell Scary Stories to Friends

By far the scariest part of this list, telling your friends and family scary stories will also generate fear. Maybe as a suggestion, get one of those Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books and read the scariest thing you can find in there. Yu could also see if you could come up with your own and see how much you frighten others.

I hope this list was helpful. There are a lot of things you can do on Halloween to scare yourself and others. Now here is my question: What would you do to scare yourself or friends and family on Halloween night?
