Abby Henderson

Q: Caden, how old are you, and what grade are you in?

A: I’m 13, and I’m in 8th grade.

Q: What are you favorite holiday traditions?

A: Every year, on Thanksgiving, we all go to my grandparents’ house to eat and shoot guns. For Christmas, we go to my grandparents’ house and eat some more and exchange gifts.

Q: If you could make your own law, what would it be?

A: I would make a law where you wouldn’t have to have a fishing licence to fish where ever you want to.

Q: What is the first thing that you notice about someone when you first meet them?

A: I notice their eyes first, because when I talk to someone, I always look into their eyes.

Q: What subjects aren’t taught in school that you think should be?

A: I think everyone should learn how to pay taxes and create a budget that fits their needs and situation.

Q: What’s your favorite type of day?

A: I love days when it’s sunny and you can go outside and do yard work.

Q: Do you have any role models that you look up to?

A: I really look up to my grandpa because he has an amazing work ethic that really inspires me to do better and work harder.

Q: What teacher here at the Junior High do you look up to?

A: I really look up to Mrs Chelsea Brawner because she can find a way to balance being nice and being strict. She is a really good teacher, and always ensures that her students understand all subjects included in the school experience.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: I want to be a marine biologist because since I was four, I have loved watching Shark Week, and the ocean has always interested me.
