Q: Max, how old are you, and what grade are you in?

A: I’m a seventh grader, and I’m 12 years old.

Q: What do you like to do when you get home from school?

A: I like to play video games with my friends or my brothers. 

Q: Do you have any hobbies? 

A: I play football and run cross country. 

Q: What’s your favorite thing about playing sports?

A: I really enjoy sports because it leads me to meet new people and make more friends.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do on Halloween?

A: My favorite thing is probably trick or treating with all my brothers.

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would you pick, and why?

A: Probably time travel, so I could go back and fix all the mistakes I’ve made.

Q: If you had to pick three words to describe yourself, what would you choose?

A: I would use talkative, studious, and athletic.

Q: Do you look up to your parents as role models? 

A: Yes, they have led me to try hard in school and make good grades. They have always been very supportive of my decisions. They are both teachers, so that gives me a good insight to that world, and helped me decide that I probably want to teach when I’m older.

Q: Are you looking forward to being an 8th grader next year? 

A: Yes, I am really excited to be a good role model for all the younger kids.

Q: Do you have a teacher in this school that you look up to?

A: I really look up to Mrs. Chelsea Brawner. She is so kind to everyone and very funny. She genuinely cares about all of her students, and shows that every day in her classroom. I am very thankful that I have her this year and I really appreciate everything she does.
